The Charnwood Compton combines the look and feel of a traditional wood burner with the ease and convenience of an electric fire. The Compton features a realistic electric flame effect with a 1 or 2 kw thermostatically controlled fan heater. A single door with large ceramic glass panel for a full view of the realistic flame effect is a pure joy. Built from a sturdy combination of plate stee, cast iron and ceramic glass gives the Compton the feel as well as the look of the real thing.
